Cat Garage Rescue

Sometimes it’s not about the NR in TNR.

Sometimes it’s just about the T.
The Trap. 😂

A tiny black kitten — aka a suspicious little piece of Halloween lint with legs — showed up at a mechanic shop. 🐈‍⬛

Thankfully, a very sweet lady had been feeding him, but this little dude had apparently decided that human interaction was NOT included with the meal plan.

The feeder needed help.
The mechanic shop needed help.
And I needed a trap.

So after hours, with permission from the very kind mechanic shop, we launched Operation: Secure the Goods. 🫡

There was strategy.
There was patience.
There was bait.
There was probably some questionable whispering to a cat.
And eventually…

WE GOT THE GOODS. 😂🐈‍⬛

Tiny void: 1
Trap: 1
Humans: Exhausted but victorious

Sometimes TNR is Trap-Neuter-Return.

And sometimes it’s just:

T = TRAP THE LITTLE SHADOW GOBLIN BEFORE HE DISAPPEARS INTO THE NIGHT. 🌚😂

But hey… he’s safe now, and that’s what matters. ❤️

🐱 20 cats went to be TNR’d at the clinic yesterday…

And guess how many were FEMALES?

15.

FIFTEEN. 😳😂

Ladies… we need to talk. 😂

Because if these girls had gone home unfixed, we would have had a full-blown kitten factory situation on our hands. 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

One female cat can have multiple litters a year, and those kittens grow up and start making kittens of their own. Before you know it, you’ve got cats everywhere and everyone is wondering, “Where did all these cats come from?!” 🤦‍♀️😂

THIS is why TNR matters. ❤️

Yesterday, 20 cats got fixed — including 15 potential kitten-making machines. 😂✂️

That’s potentially HUNDREDS of kittens who won’t be born into an already overwhelming population.

So yes… yesterday was basically Operation: Shut Down the Kitten Factory. 😂🐾

And honestly?

We regret nothing. ❤️

Shout out to Well Pet Community Vet and their amazing staff. Without them, theres no way we would be able to help as many cats ( and people ) that we have helped.

See yall on Monday. 😬😉🐈‍⬛🐈

WOW! We still have 3 months left in the year and we have already performed as many spays and neuters in 2026 as we did in ALL off 2025! These numbers don't even include the amputations, tumor removals, dentals, enucleations, and countless other surgeries we provide for pets in our community.
Each year we watch these numbers grow, and every year it reminds us just how much of a difference we're making in the fight against pet overpopulation! We can't wait to see what our final number for 2026 will be.
Thank you to everyone who trusts us with their pets and supports our mission. We couldn't do this without you!

Do not forget about our TNR class tomorrow at Turtle bay nutrition at 11am.

We are so excited to be doing this and meeting new people. Helping people. Teaching TNR. We will have a guess speaker coming out to, with tons of experience in the TNR world. 👏👏

Not to mention the raffle goodies for anyone that attends. 😉🐈‍⬛

🔥🐾 TWELVE. MORE. CATS. 🐾🔥

Not to brag… but 12 more cats went to the clinic YESTERDAY to be TNR’d.

And you know what?

I’M DAMN PROUD OF THAT.

That’s 12 cats that won’t be creating litter after litter of kittens.
12 cats that won’t be adding to the endless cycle of unwanted litters.
12 cats that get a shot at a healthier, safer life.

I work a full-time job. I have a life outside of rescue. I get tired. I get overwhelmed. I have days where I wonder how the heck I’m going to keep up.

And then there’s another cat who needs help.

So I set the alarm.
I grab the traps.
I load the car.
I show up.

Because somebody has to.

I can’t save every cat. But I can save THIS cat.

Then the next one.🐈‍⬛

Then the next one.🐈

And that is how change happens.

To everyone who has donated, shared posts, encouraged me, helped in any way, or simply said, “Keep going” — THANK YOU. ❤️

And to the colony caretakers I’ve had the privilege of working with: you are absolute warriors. Thank you for feeding them, watching over them, and trusting me to help get them fixed.

So yeah…

12 more cats yesterday.

And tomorrow, if there’s another one who needs me?

I’ll be there.

No fancy organization.
No giant team.
No magic wand.

Just one stubborn woman, a few traps, a whole lot of determination, and an absolutely ridiculous love for cats. 😼💪🐾

Let's make GiveBack Weekend a huge success and show what our incredible community can achieve together.

If looks could kill… these two would probably be serving LIFE. 😂😼

But don’t let those murder mittens and “I didn’t ask to be here” faces fool you. These are just 2 of the females who went to the clinic yesterday and officially joined the No More Babies Club! 🎉✂️

And yes… the tortie came with a bonus passenger — her tortie daughter! Thankfully, BOTH girls are now on the road to freedom without kittens tagging along. 🙌🐾

This is exactly why TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is SO important. ❤️

One unspayed female can have multiple litters, and before you know it, those kittens are having kittens, and suddenly the neighborhood has gone from “Aww, look at that cute cat!” to “WHY ARE THERE 47 CATS IN MY YARD?!” 😂

TNR stops that cycle BEFORE it becomes an even bigger problem. It means:
🐾 Trap
✂️ Spay/neuter
💉 Vaccinate
🏡 Return them to their outdoor home

No kittens. No endless cycle. Healthier cats. Fewer homeless animals.

So yes, they may look like they’re plotting your demise… but yesterday, they were plotting something much more important:

FREEDOM… with NO BABIES. 😹❤️
