Thinking of you all as Thanksgiving approaches....
Your dining room is a place to gather, to share and to visit with eachother. Mix the old with the new - vintage furnishings, classic wall coverings, modern lighting. What I love about this dining room is the rich colormix – the paint with the wallpaper, juxtaposing the dark woods with the pinks and greens and blues..... and it’s just so darn pretty! And don’t forget the fresh florals!

Details, Details, Details!

Bringing a space together - really together, means thinking through the details. It requires focus AND a willingness to play. It’s through play that we discover new possibilities. Focus allows us to bring together the possiblities of play with the project’s goals leading us to evolved, thoughtful design work.

This dining room project was elevated by the details....
a. Trim: deciding to add trim to window drapery to add texture and dimension to a beautiful textured fabric. Then finding the right trim - textures, color combinations.
b. Hardware: selecting special pieces for a unique look and then realizing we had an opportunity to elevate the built-in cabinet k***s with a special find that reflected the cut crystal in the drapery finials.
