MAKING CHANGE FOR GOOD STARTS WITH ONE PERSON.

captures the thriving life at — birds, insects, and blooming plants all flourishing while residents show up to grow food for communities in need. Two hours of care-work becomes 40 Community Credits through involveMINT, local wealth that gets spent right here in Pittsburgh. This is how neighbors create shared prosperity together. 🌱💚🐝

IMPACT IN ACTION — 2,000+ POUNDS LOGGED 🌱

Every drop-off at the Hazelwood Food Recycling Site becomes Community Credits—spending power that stays local. When 2,013.7 lbs were logged, 90.41 Community Credits were minted for the Hazelwood community. That's how mutual exchange works: everyday actions become resources that strengthen small businesses, nonprofits, and neighbors. Thanks to Community Farm, Grove Brewing, and community members making this real.

FOOD WASTE JUST BECAME COMMUNITY WEALTH

One community member at the Hazelwood Food Recycling Site composted 1.2 lbs of food waste—and earned 40 Community Credits. Here's the magic: Community Credits count BOTH the weight AND the labor. So these 40 credits reflect 2 hours of time invested plus the actual lbs of waste diverted. Community Credits stay local, flowing to neighbors, schools, and small businesses. This is Making Change for Good. 🌱

5 POUNDS OF FOOD SCRAPS = 40 COMMUNITY CREDITS. ♻️

Here's how involveMINT works: drop your food scraps at the Hazelwood Food Recycling Site and every contribution is logged as a Proof of Impact. Those credits are real, spendable value — good at Dylamato's Market, Worm Return, and dozens of neighborhood businesses.

Waste becomes compost. Compost grows food. Good work earns credit. The loop keeps value right here in Hazelwood.
