The 33rd annual NAIOP Awards for Excellence in the Real Estate Industry was a wonderful time, and we're proud to have brought home the award for Best Adaptive Reuse Project for the LiveWell Apartments!
From its inception as The McCreery & Co Department store in 1904, to office building and eventual GNC Headquarters, this historic building is now a 254-unit apartment building with a mix of studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Strada added 600 new windows and new parking for both cars and bicycles, and preserved the painted art glass mural, “The Puddler”.

Ground has been officially broken at Roman Catholic High School’s new STEM Center expansion!
The vision evolved over the last decade into this exciting advanced space for science, engineering, and robotics. This meaningful connection to Roman Catholic’s Renaissance Hall, designed by Strada architects in 1996, includes a bright and airy atrium, and represents a new phase of this storied Vine Street institution. Strada is proud to be a part of Roman's history, spanning three centuries of construction, from the groundbreaking at 301 North Broad in 1890 to the addition of Renaissance Hall in 1996, and now the STEM Center.

The Cathedral Campus project is an exercise in campus place making, which created a new administrative and religious center for the Diocese of Wheeling/Charleston.
Demolition of the 1930s addition to a historic school created opportunities to connect to a new plaza. Across the street, a garage was rebuilt as the backdrop to the new Marian garden, with vehicular access from the alleyway.

Last week Strada Philly team members were treated to a wonderful visit to Calder Gardens. We each marveled in the architecture, the landscape design, the graphic identity, and of course the artwork and history of Calder himself. Thank you so much to Amy McGee of Bentley and Nicole Carville of Haworth for organizing such a magical evening for us. We share in your appreciation and promotion of the arts in Philadelphia!
