If you’re looking for a fun, Halloween pop-up bar around town, the best one you’ll find with an incredible menu of drinks is the Spookeasy at the Omni William Penn Hotel

These drinks are all handcrafted with house made ingredients and are so creative! We tried all of them and honestly loved them all, but the standouts were the Witching Hour and the Devil’s Due! The Witching Hour is a spiced orange c***r with Hennessy and the Devil’s Due is basically a margarita with a red w**e float.

Halloween is this month!! One pop-up bar to keep on your radar is Bad Omens at Wigle Wh***ey in the Strip District that opens today! They have a new menu of fun, festive drinks and they’re celebrating the release of their new Mothman Wh***ey! Go check them out this month on Fridays and Saturdays.

Friday hours: 6-11pm
Saturday hours: 5-11pm

It’s been a heck of a weekend doing fall things around town!

1. The Fall Sip & Soirée at the Biergarten on top of the Kimpton downtown is so cute!! Loved the live music, spiked apple c***r, w**e and charcuterie, and the desserts! They pass around hor d’oeuvres and the beef wellie was amazing. Plus the view of downtown and the sky at sunset was 👌
2. Brunch at Wise County Biscuits & Cafe and bopping around the North Side!
3. Kennywood’s Fall Fest is a fall classic!!! We love that they have a new fall fest menu with delicious fall themed foods!! Plus all the spooky stuff at night is always a blast!! Kennywood is a fall classic for me!
3. Got my first Russian mani at Non-Toxic Salon / High-End Manicuring and I’m obsessed
4. My first Waffalonia in a very long time and it was lovely for my soul
5. Weekly Mola for my sanity
6. Haven’t had Spak Bros. in a while so I had to fix that
7. Also got some drinks at Two Frays Brewery

I also saw Resident Evil at The Manor Theatre and checked out The Squirrel Hill Cafe which was such good vibes. It’s been a pretty jam packed but low key week.

This past week was pure chaos. From work things to weddings to spinning on coasters to seeing family to seeing friends. It’s been a time! We also won karaoke at Jackworth Ginger B**r last Friday so that was 💯

Fall is all about the festive drinks and Okane Sweet Spot is hosting a fall matcha recipe contest!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
🍵 Come up with your ultimate fall matcha using your favorite fall flavors. Your drink can include up to 3 ingredients outside of matcha itself. Think flavorings, cold foam, toppings, or fun additions like pumpkin syrup or marshmallows.
🍵Give your creation a fun name.
🍵Submit your recipe between 9/8 - 9/20, 2026 through the link in Okane Sweet Spot ‘s bio or here: https://forms.gle/PANXroEvjAcPfFtv7 . Make sure to include your first and last name and follow their page to qualify.
🍵 The top 5 recipes will be selected to move on to the final round.
🍵From 9/21 - 10/12, everyone can stop by Okane Sweet Spot between 11am - 5pm to sample the finalist
drinks and cast your vote by ballot.
🏆 The winning matcha will be featured on their menu with special mention of its creator AND the winner gets one free matcha every day through the first day of spring 2027, which is amazing!! 🤩
