Fresh Tech Integrated

Tying two worship spaces into one backbone. ⚙️

Oakland Church in Johnstown has a contemporary service downstairs and a traditional one in the sanctuary. Over the years, each room ended up on its own gear. Streaming downstairs meant setting up a switcher and running HDMI across the room every Sunday. The sanctuary couldn’t stream at all. On top of that, decades of unlabeled cable and wireless DMX that kept dropping mid-sermon.

So we gave them one system. One rack, one Q-SYS core, and the same console in each room so a volunteer trained downstairs can walk upstairs and mix without missing a beat. The cameras are mounted and wired, which means the team walks in and the system is already ready.

Their volunteers care deeply about serving well. Now they get to show up and do that, instead of spending the first hour setting up.

Welcome back, Aaron 🙌

Some new team members are new faces. This one is a familiar one. Aaron is back on the Fresh Tech team after a season stepping away to serve in college ministry.

Making things happen on-site, singing his heart out onsite, and pouring into our younger techs and apprentices. Aaron’s a dawg 😤and we are so excited to have his years of experience back on our install team.

Renovation weekend at Painesville Assembly Of God 🚀

Painesville Assembly of God has been renovating their auditorium since June, and this weekend the space came back to life for the first time. Their first major refresh in quite a few years.

We got to design and install the AVL system for their team over the last three weeks. A full AVL upgrade, a new QSC PA, and an Altitude LED LED wall, purpose-built for the volunteers who run the room every week.

Swipe through for a look at the build and the weekend itself.

Huge congrats to the whole team and we are so grateful to be part of what God is doing in Painesville.

Week 2 at ’s new location

Big weekends, clear sound. 🙌

just hosted their massive Easter egg hunt in The Concourse this weekend 🐣 and a few weeks ago it was packed out for Motion Night with their students.

Same space. Totally different environments. One system that handles both with clarity.

This upgrade was all about turning The Concourse into a flexible, high-impact space that supports whatever ministry moment is happening next. We designed and deployed a SRX line array system to deliver even, consistent coverage across the entire room, improving intelligibility while allowing the system to run at lower, more comfortable levels. Fully integrated with Q-Sys and Dante, the system is simple to control and easy to reconfigure for different setups.

Big investment. Clear vision.
But the system wasn’t delivering. ⚠️

At Reach Church in Des Moines, we were brought in to redeploy and restore an AVL system that wasn’t performing the way it should. Audio dropouts. Network instability. Constant troubleshooting.

Not a gear problem. A deployment problem.

With fresh eyes, we stabilized the network, properly deployed the d&b system, and brought order back to the infrastructure. The goal was simple: make the system dependable again.

Because stewardship matters. And technology should accelerate the mission, not slow it down.
