All of our farm stands seek to serve the communities surrounding our farm sites. We accept Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program checks, EBT/SNAP payments, Food Rx, and Food Bucks.

Interested in volunteering on one of our farms this summer? Join us for one of our monthly volunteer projects at Shiloh and Braddock farms! Each month we will host an open call for anyone who is interested in volunteering on our farms. Please register at growpittsburgh.org/events

Celebrate the longest day of the year with an evening of food, music, and community in the heart of the garden. On June 13th from 3-6pm, we’re bringing neighbors together to enjoy the beauty of summer with delicious farm-fresh bites, live music, and fun activities for all ages.

Come connect with your community, soak in the summer sun, and experience the magic of Shiloh Farm in full bloom. This event is free and open to everyone—bring your friends and family and let’s celebrate the season together!

Starting this month, all of our farmstands will be open for the summer! You can find our produce 4 days a week in Braddock, Wilkinsburg, Homewood, and North Point Breeze.

Today is the opening day of the Braddock Farm Stand! Stop by today from 10am-1pm for a free, family-friendly event celebrating the Grand Opening of the Braddock Farm Stand for the 2026 season!

This celebration kicks off the Farm Stand being open three days/week, so you'll be able to shop Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays June through October!

Our seedling sale is in full swing! This season, find our seedlings at the following locations and times:

Garden Dreams (April 10-June 20) Fridays 12pm – 6pm, Saturdays 10am-4pm

Garden Dreams will have the greatest abundance and variety all season

🚧⚠️There will be road work along Center Street in Wilkinsburg from May 21-June 21. There will be NO PARKING along Center Street during this time, and sections of the street will be closed as work progresses. We recommend that you use Coal Street to access the Hamnett Park N Ride for parking at Garden Dreams. 🚧⚠️


East End Food Co-Op (end of March – mid-July) Daily, 8am-8pm

Braddock Farms (May) Saturdays, 9am-1pm

Access to affordable fresh fruits & vegetables is at the heart of what we do. This includes folks being able to grow their own if they want to! Did you know Supplemental Food Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits can be used to purchase food-producing seeds & seedlings?

This includes the following items:
• Seeds for producing edible plants and edible plants (e.g., tomatoes and green pepper seeds or plants, and fruit trees);
• Edible food producing roots, bushes, and bulbs (e.g., asparagus crowns and onion bulbs); and
• Seeds and plants used to produce spices for use in cooking.

In partnership with the Food Trust & Just Harvest, we are able to distribute Food Bucks coupons for future purchases of fresh fruits & vegetables. Shoppers earn a $2 Food Buck coupon for every $5 spent using SNAP.

These coupons can be used at all of our farmstands, local farmers markets, and also some stores, including the East End Food Co-op.

Join us on May 30 from 10am-1pm for a free, family-friendly event celebrating the Grand Opening of the Braddock Farm Stand for the 2026 season! This celebration kicks off the Farm Stand being open three days/week. We’ll have free activities for community members and will be highlighting the crops and seedlings that are in season at this time.

Great news! We just received an extra $2,500 in matching funds to double your gift, so we've extended our deadline to May 22.

As part of our partnership with Jack Johnson’s All At Once community, donations made to Grow Pittsburgh between now and May 22 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Johnson Ohana Foundation, up to $2,500.

Plus, everyone who donates between May 15-May 22 will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the July 3 show at The Pavilion at Star Lake!
