we gotta hella wheel builds in the queue to start the year and i couldn’t be happier about. i could build wheels all day/everyday. we’re starting off with this set for our dude we hooked him up with this NOS WR Compositi 🇮🇹 hubset and laced em to our favorite R35 RIM BRAKE is not dead, folks. never was, never will be. spokes/nips, obviously. stay tuned for more to see what these are going on 👀

new wheels for our guy we laced up the new WG44s in the 12k weave to some R45s. we love deep rims with big tyres round here. monster truck vibes. gravedigger type shh. the WG44s are 44mm deep and 30mm internal so these 2.4 rellis are sitting really nice on there. hit us up for your custom wheel dreamz

🚨new dream build🚨 this one has been a long time coming for our guy eamon he’s been pulling up for years to our MXT rides on his fixie. it was honestly awesome, albeit a bit reckless. we’ve been talking about a bike more cabable, sometime to get further on mixed terrain. something that’ll get up all the hills and singletrack pittsburgh has to offer. but also, something he can tour on, visit his bro in SF with (our guy ). something to commute on year round. even if you are proponent of N+1, bike heads know deep down we are always searching for the swiss army knife of bicycles. the one you can bring to almost any ride, use for any occasion. i think we’ve genuinely accomplished that here. eamon scooped this La Cabra frameset and wheels from who, i can imagine shares our quest for the do-it-all bike. we paired new 105 levers with the new XT derailleur for a no frills and tough wireless drivetrain. and since eamon wanted the ability to get pretty gnar on this bike, we added a set of Zee brakes. good brakes make you go faster, btw. fenders by via to get him thru the winter szn. tons of other details but i’m running out of space here so i’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

MXT IS ON. we’ve got an absolutely bodacious rahte cooked up by bry & bri. seriously, it’s the best ride i’ve done in a while. it’s got a little bit of everything, from singletrack to ghost roads to the best grav climb in tahn. since it’s a little longer and unfamiliar, this will be a drop ride. plz download the rahte if you plan on pulling up. we will be taking off at 6pm SHARP. also bring lights, it’s gettin a lil darker sooner.

TIER ONE MOSAIC GT-1 AR. the forever bike ™️ custom geo/sick white to raw titanium fade. paint matched fork/stem/post. look at the fade match on the fork. we went all out on this one. R45s laced to LUNA hoops with spokes/nips wrapped in our fav rennies RED groupo cockpit. we had so much fun with this one. one of the most beautiful bicycles we’ve been around.

Ramon from Barcelona is crushing his way from San Fran to NYC. He stopped in for a few adjustments before finishing up his last leg this weekend. You can’t follow his progress on social media or anywhere else because he’s not into it. He will accept hi-fives, hand shakes or a beer if you see him💜.

we may a lil biased but this gotta be the coolest tandem in existence. and it’s got a great story behind it. our buddy grew up next door to Oscar Rattenborg, who built this frame locally back in the 90s. years later Nate found this on marketplace, and him and his wife Sara fell in love with the thing. flash forward to a few months ago, Nate and I started scheming on how to bring into the 21st century (it was rim/drum brake) so I hit up Mike at .fabrication to weld some disc tabs, clean up the paint, and add some odds and ends. he did a great job. then we rebuilt it with hubs and hoops, an american tradition, and hit it with sram gx axs because less wires. hardcore touring tandemers may flame us about it in the comments , but we think all tandems should have wireless shifting. so clean!
