Last week, Avon Design Group had the privilege of attending the grand opening of our recently completed Retirement Residence project at Edgewood Center. It was a great event, bringing together the community and celebrating all that this project brings to the neighborhood.

The conceptual design for our Guardian Angels master plan is coming together. The welcome center is just one of many state-of-the-art buildings that will be located on their 102 acre medical service dog training campus. The purpose of this facility is to greet visitors and celebrate the canine graduates.

Emerald Hills Retirement Residence is a recently completed, 52 unit apartment building that puts sustainability and energy efficiency at the forefront. Achieving Enterprise Green Communities and PHIUS+ certifications, the building design places emphasis on superior indoor air quality, thermal comfort and acoustics. The result is an exceedingly healthy indoor living environment, without sacrificing the high quality interior design desired by the client.

We are proud to have partnered with Erie Center for Arts & Technology, a locally governed nonprofit organization. The goal of this project was to provide ECAT with a space that supports their mission to educate and empower adults and teens in the local community.

ECAT was recently awarded a 2021 Greater Erie Award for Adaptive Reuse for the rehabilitation of the old Wayne School. Check out the link below to see the transformation!
