Every day is a new adventure around Martin Professional—and yesterday was definitely one for the books! 🐭🔧

We received a call requesting a very unusual rescue… a chinchilla trapped in a family’s air ducts! 😳

The family’s newest member, Milo, had made a great escape and somehow found his way into the home’s ductwork. So we grabbed our duct inspection camera, some equipment, and our expertise, and headed out to bring this little guy home.

Using our inspection camera, we were able to locate Milo inside the trunk line of the air duct system. We carefully made a small opening at the far end and gently encouraged him toward the opening with a few light taps for motivation. 🐭➡️🏠

And the timing couldn’t have been better! The dramatic rescue was completed just as Milo’s best friend got home from school. We were able to hand Milo back over—safe, sound, and completely unscathed—and sealed up the trunk line like nothing had ever happened.

We love seeing our clients’ reactions after transforming their flooring or furniture. But we have to admit… seeing the reaction to a successful pet rescue was extra rewarding! ❤️

At Martin Professional, you never quite know what the next call will bring. From cleaning and restoration to unexpected rescues, we’re always ready to help!
