We are proud to announce that two of our Bonner Leaders were recognized at the Chancellor’s Student Leadership Gala!

Alex Cruz was awarded with the Outstanding Service Award for her excellent work in the Bonner Leaders program, strong drive and passion for service, and efforts that have gone above and beyond. She stands out as a community leader at Rutgers!

Christopher Godoy was awarded with the Chancellor’s Leadership Award for his various roles served on campus. As student body President and the Student Charter Trustee for Rutgers University, Chris has devoted much of his time to supporting and representing the entire student body on campus. We appreciate his dedication to service, leadership and community!

Congrats to both of you on this amazing honor! 👏 🎉

The Collaborative Center is participating in Rutgers Giving Days on April 24, 2026 (this Friday!). All donations to the Collaborative Engagement Leadership Support Fund are used to make participation in engagement more accessible for all students by providing money for transportation to sites; to give mini-grants to local New Brunswick and Piscataway organizations to support their community engagement initiatives; and, to support students in attending conferences to present their community-engaged research on a regional and national level. Please help support the Collaborative Center in its mission to connect the Rutgers campus to our local communities and affect positive change.
