Beginning March 1, 2026, the Pinole Library will close for an extensive 11-month renovation to modernize the infrastructure of the 50-year-old facility and address critical deferred maintenance. The project features essential upgrades, including a new roof, updated electrical systems, ADA-compliant parking improvements, and the installation of an all-electric HVAC and energy-efficient lighting. While the building is closed, you are encouraged to use nearby branches in El Sobrante and Hercules, and place holds or access digital resources at ccclib.org.
