As Mayor Pro Tem of Pinole, I’m excited to welcome Travis Credit Union to our community. This partnership is especially meaningful to me personally because I’ve been a Travis Credit Union member since I was 14 years old, and they also helped support my educational journey through a scholarship to UCLA.

For decades, Travis Credit Union has invested in people, families, and communities — and now Pinole residents will have greater access to trusted banking services, financial education, and new opportunities that support local economic development.

I’m participating in the MCE Technical Committee meeting as we discuss MCE’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) — a long-term roadmap for clean energy, grid reliability, and affordability across our region.

As a member of the Technical Committee and the City of Pinole's representative to MCE, I’m focused on making sure our communities are represented as we navigate important decisions around:

💵 Affordability for residents and businesses
⚡ Grid reliability
🌎 Clean energy and emissions reduction goals

These long-term planning discussions directly impact ratepayers, local governments, and the future of California’s energy system.

The meeting is open to the public and available virtually.
