The BYU Management Society’s vision to “grow moral and ethical leadership” in Arizona began almost thirty years ago. In 1977 Merrill J. Bateman, former Marriott School dean, established our society as a premier organization for LDS business professionals to network, develop careers, serve communities, and support BYU and the Marriott School. President Bateman wanted membership to be open to BYU alumni and also all Arizona business professionals looking to form lasting friendships and meaningful relationships that would advance a career. Today the Arizona Management Society is poised to take this mission into the next wave of digital connectivity -- leveraging the power of social platforms like Linkedin, Twitter, and Facebook to ensure that its professionals are on the cutting-edge of professional development, community service, and career development.
