During this comprehensive, all-day class, participants will learn:

• The advantages and responsibilities of owning a home
• How to assess their financial readiness
• The homebuying process from start to finish
• How much home they can afford
• The roles of lenders, realtors, inspectors, and other key members of the homebuying team

This class has a $99 value and fulfills the HUD Homebuyer Education requirement for many homeownership assistance programs.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Trellis is proud to be mentioned in the Spring 2026 issue of Affordable Housing News, in a feature called "Doing More With Less: Arizona's largest county leverages partnerships and creative funding to deliver affordable housing across a vast region."

The article highlights the great work of Maricopa County Department of Human Services and housing projects happening across the County including the Avondale Affordable Housing Initiative, a collaboration with the City of Avondale, Trellis, and Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona that brought six single-family homes on City-owned land to buyers earning 80–120% AMI.

Trellis is grateful to be part of the creative partnerships helping more Arizona families find a place to call home.
