A great meeting with TSMC Arizona President Rose Castanares.
To win the global competition for AI leadership, we need to lead the world in the research, development and manufacturing of cutting-edge semiconductors.
I’ll continue supporting this work to ensure Arizona remains at the center of this critical industry.

Last year, DOGE dug through your private Social Security information and tax records, and some staff even saved it to their personal devices.
To this day, we don’t know what they did with it.
Americans have a right to know what happened with their data. If the Trump administration refuses to provide answers to the government’s watchdog, House Democrats will force them to once we retake the majority.
Agencies won’t hand over records for an investigation into how DOGE accessed data Democrats in Congress are raising the alarm as the Trump administration is not handing all its information over to a government watchdog.
Congressional oversight exists for moments like this. The American people need to know the conditions inside the ICE detention center for families and children.
I won’t let this administration hide from accountability.

Big congrats to Phoenix's own Carty Shoen and his Auburn University teammate on winning the 2026 National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. Well done! 🎣
My office is aware that a Tempe parent and student were detained by ICE and are currently being transported to the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in Texas. We are in contact with school and local officials, and my team is working urgently to reach the family.
I just returned from a visit to Dilley yesterday, where I met with families in similar circumstances. What I saw there was heartbreaking, and this case reflects the same outrageous, misguided priorities under Trump's mass deportation agenda.
This family should be home tonight, celebrating their son's 8th grade promotion, not in federal detention hundreds of miles away.
What I saw at Dilley today is exactly why Trump’s approval on immigration is cratering.
This is what mass deportation looks like. Mothers separated from their American kids. Business owners imprisoned for months. People in deportation limbo after decades with no criminal record.
The American people are right to be angry, and we’re going to keep showing up and fighting back.

Trump has lost the plot on affordability. Too many families are skipping meals & taking on second jobs to afford groceries, and Trump’s illegal tariffs are raising prices even higher.
Now, his top priorities are designing a taxpayer-funded billion-dollar ballroom and paying off J6 insurrectionists out of his $1.8 billion slush fund.
I’m fighting to end Trump’s illegal tariffs and pass the Affordability Agenda to bring costs down across the board.
On the way back from Dilley detention center, we spoke with to discuss our oversight visit.
Many of the parents we met with have been in America for decades, have no criminal record, and have children who are American citizens. We met with business owners, nonprofit founders, and family caregivers.
It serves no purpose to the United States to break up these families.
