The punk scene at large lost a good one tonight. My heart goes out to Drea, Gaby, Cassie's family and loved ones, and all who had the pleasure to be touched by her through her cut too short time here.

Cassandra Nicole Jalilie, our beloved musical sister, passed away today at 5:07 pm holding her twin sister’s hand, sitting alongside her dog daughter Chevy, and surrounded by family. To say this world is not as bright without her presence is an understatement. The love and support from the punk rock community is a testament not only to her as a person, but to her life’s legacy. We are beyond grateful for her and heartbroken and ask for privacy at this time as we take time to grieve and honor our beloved Cassie.

And made it to the first Phoenix screening of 40 Years of Fu**in Up! A documentary about NOFX by NOFX. **kingup

Rooting for and sending strength to Cassie, of The Venomous Pinks, in her fight against cancer and as it gets tougher. She has been an awesome addition to the Pinks since she joined. One of the couple that I also got to photography while performing on stage. Once again, it's one of those so long for now posts. Heading back to the land of the saguaros. First and foremost, thank you to the birthday boy and most gracious host of me this weekend, . Him and Mike for getting me around. To , , Jeremy(Pretty much all of Dammit Jim), Wayne, and all involved putting the shows together. I might have hit a chronic fatigue speed bump to start on Friday, as the work week exhaustion hit me, but made a solid rebound for Saturday and Sunday.

I hate saying bye with so many great friends here these days, but always plan to keep coming back as long as I can. Especially until I'm not jealous of this Denver ska scene you got. So, until next year or maybe sooner, take care Denver!
