A beautiful woman is celebrated and honored today for the extraordinary life and positive impact she made for so many. On behalf of Bucket List Foundation and all who supported her last wish, we are grateful to have been part of your journey 🌹
Lori McClaskey Agresta lost her 12-year battle with Leukemia on Sept. 22, 2022. At home in Scottsdale, AZ, in the arms of her loving husband, Paul Christopulos, and surrounded by family and friends. Born May 14, 1967, and raised in Vancouver, WA, Lori attended Harney Elementary, McLoughlin Jr. High, Fort Vancouver High and Clark College. In 1986 Lori moved to Lake Tahoe, her “happy place”, where she lived life to the fullest! A pentalogy would have to be written to outline Lori’s collection of life experiences and adventures. To keep it brief; Lori loved the outdoors and challenged herself with every new opportunity and activity, with a smile on her face and her infectious positive attitude, she believed she could...so she did. An avid skier, you would find Lori admiring the breathtaking views overlooking Lake Tahoe at the top of Heavenly after plunging the Black Diamond Canyon. A few more of Lori’s favorite activities; golf, hiking, biking, horseback riding, any water sport, if it was presented to her, she was all in.
Travel and aviation lived in Lori’s heart. From taking private pilot lessons as a teenager to traveling the world as a flight attendant, she made lasting memories and friendships, impacting more lives with love and gratitude all over the world. Never forgetting a birthday, anniversary or life event, Lori fostered every single relationship. To know Lori was to love Lori.
Lori is survived by her husband, Paul; her brothers, Steve McClaskey, Eric Bolin, Nicholas Bolin and Jeremy Bolin; her sister, Rebekah Bolin; her biological parents, Paul Bolin and Sunny King; and her countless number of beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Lieselotte McClaskey.

In support of Brain Cancer Awareness Month in May, Bucket List Foundation granted Bill's Wish-to experience the Kentucky Derby! That he did!!! Over the course of four full days, Bill and his wife, Lori had the most Epic Equestrian Experiences!!! From private barn and backside workout tours hosted by Churchill Downs and then West Point Thoroughbreds, they met many famous barn horses, trainers and Hall of Fame jockey, Mike Smith, and experienced up close and personal, the best in Equestrian thoroughbreds. They toured the Kentucky Derby Museum and were hosted on a tour of Lane's End Farm and cocktails and dinner at O'Shea's Irish Pub. That was just the start...
Bill and his lovely wife attended two full days of races including Kentucky Oaks, the sister race for 3-year-old fillies and on Saturday, the infamous Kentucky Derby. They were treated like the VIP they are from the viewpoint of the First Turn Club and as their paparazzi, Hans and Ana Maron introduced them to people and places only they could make happen! Members of West Point Thoroughbreds and owners of O'Besos, last years' 4th place winner (147th Kentucky Derby), Hans and Ana helped provide and capture an experience of a lifetime!
64-year-old Bill was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer last year, April 2021. He has sustained 2 brain surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy/radiation and clinical trials, all while working and raising three young children that he and his wife adopted. He is an extraordinary, selfless, giving and godly man. A provider for his biological family of four and foster parent to over 30 children in the last 10 years. A avid runner, swimmer and bicyclist, his wall of medals include 2 successful completions of the ultimate event, the Iron Man triathlon. It is this strength of mind, body, spirit, faith in God and love for his family that provides Bill the resilience and gratitude to fight this disease.
We would like to mention several individuals who went above and beyond to make this wish a very special experience. To Heather Merrick Joyce for coordinating with Bill, Lori and Dillard's Department Store to style her for each event. To Mike and Sara Culver-Truby for offering your beautiful home/VRBO just miles from Churchill Downs. To Hans and Ana Maron for accompanying Bill and Lori and for providing them an epic experience for each incredible day in Louisville, KY. To Ana Maron, thank you for bringing us along by capturing and sharing it with all of us via this extraordinary video. To ALL who donated any amount to help make Bill's Bucket List Wish come true! THANK YOU!!! ❤️

Our mission: To inspire hope and quality of life through our wish granting program. Bucket List granted Betty’s wish (in 2013) to return to Michigan to be close to her family. Now 9 years later, we received a generous donation and beautiful note from her family expressing their gratitude and how it impacted all of their relationships and Betty’s quality of life in the most fragile time. Our mission is not just about the wish or event; it’s about reconnecting family, reconciling relationships and providing memories long after the wish❤️
