A couple months back I found an artist whose style happened to look a lot like mine, she’s so talented and happens to be a huge deal in a country on the other side of the world. Originally I panicked because I didn’t want anyone to think I was scamming all her hard work and talent but it’s actually pushed me to really dig deep and pivot my art to something that feels more uniquely me. Had a blast last night getting weird with the live paint for ⚡️ @ One One Bar

I don’t normally solicit jobs like this but this wall stares at me from my house everyday and I want to paint it sooo bad so I’ve mocked up a drawing and I’m attempting to get it in front of them. It’s at the new lifetime athletic in the biltmore, which is under construction right now.
So I ask you, all of my followers, to help me get this in front of them. This is the artwork as well as a mock up. In this series, i take random favorite stock photos and turn them into illustration pieces. I’ve been having a really fun time doing these and I’m loving the outcomes. I’m surprised at my own color palettes this series, which happened very naturally. But I’m loving the “child-like wonderment” vibe they are giving.
