Good evening Volagi family! I am writing to update our last post regarding discounted orders. Some good news and some bad news. The bad news is a scheduling conflict came up for Robert; he will not be in the office until late on July 1st which means orders won't be going out as soon as we hoped. The first orders will probably be going out on July 3rd.

The good news is we have extended the deadline to July 2nd to confirm and pay for orders with Robert to receive a discount. We are offering various types of orders from parts, wheels, just frames and full builds. We are also working to get a NEW website up and running.

Update time! Robert is continuing his recovery but he will be at Volagi headquarters in Phoenix at the end of this month to take care of some business. We are running a discount on orders confirmed and paid for with him prior to June 27th. He and Nicole will be assembling orders to ship out approximately July 1st. We will use this revenue to get the website back up and continue operations.

The Will to Go

Since the accident, both Barley and Susan, two of Volagis founders, have stepped back in to aid with business operations. It is our goal to get business back on track as usual despite this horrible tragedy. Please bear with us as we work through our existing orders during this tough time, but be assured that Volagi will continue on. What carries us through might best be put to some of Roberts own words:

"For me, what distance riding offers every person is a journey full of discoveries. Panoramic vistas, mountain passes, remote back roads, and some of the most breathtaking sights that many never see. But just as important, or perhaps more so, are all of the life lessons we pick up, the insights we gain about our own capacities and how they are limited only by our mind and heart. Valuable lessons that can be carried into every part of life."

As Robert fights on, we invite you to discover what The Will to Go means to you, and we hope to take you there on a new Volagi. It is, afterall, by endurance that we discover.

Important update: As of this morning, Robert's condition has seemed to stabilize. His fighting spirit and the love of his family and the community are helping to be pull him through. While he is not out of the woods, we are continuing to be hopeful. Thank you for your prayers, thoughts and contributions. He is the true embodiment of Volagi, "The Will To Go".

Update on Robert Choi: He remains in a critical condition in the hospital but he is surrounded by family and friends. We continue to be hopeful for his recovery and appreciate the outpouring of support from the cycling community and beyond. We will endeavor to provide more updates as we have them.

We regret to announce that yesterday evening, Robert, the backbone of our company, was involved in an accident with a motor vehicle while riding after work. He is currently in a coma at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Please send positive thoughts his way, send flowers, or stop by to visit. All visitors are welcome. We have also set up a Go Fund Me account for him to help offset hospital and recovery costs.

At this time we need to focus on getting Robert back on his feet, and hopefully the bike, as soon as possible.
