Progress on the footings. Even if it was the coldest day of the year, 27 for a low this morning.

Expansive soil dug down to the more rocky sandy non expansive soil. It’s kind of interesting how it runs in thick bands like that, then just quickly changes to a different type of soil. Will build the pad back up with non expansive soil and gravel to prevent future movement under the slab and foundation.
