Beast practicing his down-stay at Marshalls and learning to relax around everyday distractions. Good job, Beast!

Beast took on Desert Ridge and worked on one of the hardest skills for any dog — doing nothing.

Busy crowds, people walking by, and a lot going on around him, but today was all about holding his down stay, relaxing, and learning how to settle in a busy environment.

Good job, Beast!

Beast took his recall practice to Home Depot today!

We’re teaching him that when he hears his command, his job is to make his way back and land right at our side — even with people walking by, carts moving, and plenty of distractions around him.

This is still new for him, but he’s starting to understand the assignment. Good job, Beast! 🐾

KUJO is back at it! 🔥

After almost 4 years away from bike work, we decided to get him back into the sport — and in just two months, he has made amazing progress. Watching him build his conditioning, confidence, drive, and rhythm again has been awesome.

It’s been a lot of fun seeing my personal dog get back to doing what he loves, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward with him.

Big thank you to Orion and Orion Daniels for all the help, guidance, and support along the way.

Beast took his talents to Arrowhead Mall today!

Kids, strollers, people walking by, and plenty of distractions made it the perfect place to practice obedience in a real-world environment. Beast worked on staying focused, following direction, and keeping his manners sharp around everything going on.

Good work, Beast!

Hank has been with us for about a week now, and today we started introducing his recall around distractions.

The reason we don’t jump straight into recall on day one is because we need to build a solid foundation first. Sit-stay and down-stay teach the dog how to hold position and stay focused, otherwise the second we start calling them away, they’ll always want to break the stay.

We also teach recall as “heel,” so the dog learns to come back and return to the correct position at our side. Since Hank has already been practicing heel for the past week, he’s starting to understand exactly where he needs to go when called.

Good job, Hank!

Beast had his first Home Depot training session today, and overall he did really good.

For his first time in a busy store with carts, people, noises, and a lot of new distractions, we kept things controlled and focused on building trust, structure, and better decision-making. Each new environment is a chance to help him understand what we expect and how to stay calmer around the world around him.

Good first trip for Beast. 🐾
