Winter has arrived in the high elevation areas of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Due to ongoing winter weather conditions, Trail Ridge Road will remain temporarily closed at Rainbow Curve on the east side of the park and at the Colorado River Trailhead on the west side of the park. Old Fall River Road also remains closed.

Park roads can temporarily close at anytime due to inclement weather and road conditions. Beginning in October, always be prepared for winter driving conditions in the Rockies. For the most up to date information, please call the Trail Ridge Road recorded status line (970) 586-1222 and/or follow us on Twitter .
