So many of my regulars asked me how I was feeling at the market yesterday, and I said, "Just like, really, really sentimental."
Yesterday was the last market at the downtown Gilbert location, and wouldn't you know, it rained.
But before it rained, we met outside of Crooked Sky Farms for a group photo. I really thought maybe fifteen to twenty vendors would come. But Raffi and I set up our frame and waited a few minutes, and then I saw vendors start to walk over, and it actually took my breath away for a moment. We've never gathered in one big group like this before, and it was really just so beautiful.
By total coincidence, Raffi wasn't able to hop on to his regular Saturday market in Phoenix, so since he was with me at Gilbert, I also got to go around with my camera and document our last day in downtown, with a special focus on the pups, who I will miss dearly when the market moves to CGCC on Saturday. 🐶
So one day, we will all say, "Remember back when the market was under the water tower?" 🩵
