Fighters, Gyms, Coaches & Team Leaders, you are officially invited to be part of something special.

The MICHAEL CARBAJAL BOXING CLASSIC is a USA Boxing–sanctioned, three-day / three-ring amateur boxing event marking the birth of a major Arizona sporting tradition.

This elite annual tournament honors the legacy of Phoenix’s own Michael Carbajal, Olympic Silver Medalist, 6-Time World Champion, and Hall of Fame ring legend, while inspiring the next generation of champions.

The Classic will unite amateur athletes from across the country for a world-class weekend of first-class competition, athlete development, and celebration of the sport hosted at the very place where Carbajal’s greatness all began.

This event is intentionally designed to support:
• Sub-Novice
• Novice
• Open athletes

With a strong emphasis on fair experience levels, athlete safety, and long-term boxer development.

• Boxers gaining experience in a controlled, safe environment
• Teams seeking safe, well-organized competition
• Coaches focused on building athletes the right way
