This weekend Friends of Rittenhouse hosted our Spring Love Your Park Day! Our incredible volunteers were able to plant 1800 annuals along our perimeter beds. Be sure to take a walk around the Square and admire the amazing work they were able to accomplish. Thank you to everyone who volunteered!

Did you see our new trees? Across the Square from the Savoy, two new Cornus kousa
"Scarlet Fire" trees were recently planted, as part of a special gift from members of our community in honor of the 50th anniversary of Friends of Rittenhouse Square! These are a new specimen of hybridized dogwood trees, developed by Rutgers University. Once fully established, these trees will put out stunning red flowers each Spring, and are sure to provide significant interest for many years to come!

Want to be part of our efforts to plant trees, all around the Square? Contact us to learn more about tree adoptions in Rittenhouse Square. It's a great way to create a lasting memorial, and brings so much joy to everyone who visits.
