Meet Charlef, our Intake Specialist👋

He’s often one of the first people that guests meet when they walk through our doors, and he makes it a priority to know their names and build relationships with them.

Charlef says working at Philly House has taught him patience, compassion, and the importance of listening before reacting. Today, he’s able to help de-escalate difficult moments, connect with the men we serve, and remind them that someone is willing to listen.

When a man arrives at Philly House, something as simple as a comb can help him feel cared for from day one.

You can help us create Welcome Kits for men who are hungry, homeless, and hurting by shopping our Amazon Wishlist.🛒

"Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.”- Psalm 126:5

A reminder that even in difficult seasons, hope is still being planted. And in time, those seeds can become something beautiful. 🌱

Since 2023, Carversville Farm Foundation has delivered hundreds of pounds of fresh food to Philly House every week, planting what we need and delivering it when we need it.

Because our guests deserve meals that are not only nourishing, but made with care, quality, and dignity. 🙌

We’re incredibly grateful for this partnership and the difference it makes at our table. Learn more about our commitment to quality meals here: https://ow.ly/15J750ZO1fQ
