Big ideas. Strong partnerships. Greater impact. 💡🤝

Our Workforce Hub Partner Summit brought together organizations from across Philadelphia to explore how we can better connect people to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to succeed.

From discussing the power of warm referrals to identifying new opportunities for collaboration, the conversation was focused on one thing: creating stronger pathways to economic mobility for our communities.

When organizations work together, barriers come down, and opportunities grow.

Thank you to all of the incredible partners who joined us and helped move this vision forward. This is just the beginning. 🚀

Big things are cooking at OIC Philadelphia

We’re excited to share a preview of the Food Business Accelerator — a new program in development with Temple Small Business Development Center, supported by JPMorganChase, designed to help Philadelphia’s food entrepreneurs build stronger, more sustainable businesses.

From home bakers and caterers to food truck owners, our city is full of talent and ambition. This initiative is about providing the business education, mentorship, and hands-on support needed to turn that talent into long-term success.

Know a food entrepreneur who should hear about this? Share this with them.

Philadelphia does not have a resource problem.
We have a connection problem.

Across the city, organizations are doing life-changing work every day — helping residents access workforce training, education, housing support, healthcare, reentry services, and economic opportunities.

But too often, individuals are left navigating disconnected systems on their own.

At OIC Philadelphia, we are working to change that.

As we expand our Workforce Hub model, we are bringing together mission-driven partners to build a more coordinated, responsive, and people-centered support network for Philadelphia residents.

Join us for the OIC Philadelphia Workforce Hub Partner Summit as we:
• Share the vision for our Workforce Hub
• Explore coordinated service delivery opportunities
• Discuss how warm referrals can improve participant success
• Identify partnership opportunities across North Philadelphia and beyond
• Begin shaping a collaborative network centered on dignity, access, and economic mobility

This is more than an information session. It’s an opportunity to help build a stronger, more connected workforce ecosystem for Philadelphia communities.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

In observance of Memorial Day, OIC Philadelphia will be closed today as we take time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and legacy of our fallen heroes.

Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful, and peaceful Memorial Day.

If your organization is doing work in housing, mental health, legal aid, childcare, reentry, benefits navigation, financial empowerment, or health in Philadelphia — this post is for you.

Philadelphia is not lacking organizations working to address the barriers that prevent people from reaching family-sustaining wages. Every organization in this post's audience is proof of that.

What we are missing is the infrastructure to connect us.

The people we all serve are navigating between disconnected systems on their own. And too often, that is where progress breaks down.

It is time to build something different. And that's where YOU come in.

A citywide warm referral network. Not a directory. A living system built on real relationships, shared accountability, and a simple belief:

Our outcomes are your outcomes.

On June 3rd, OIC Philadelphia is opening its doors and calling the meeting. Come be part of building what Philadelphia has been missing.

Join us from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM for the Workforce Hub Partner Summit.
1231 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia.
