That nagging, pervading sense of not-enoughness can follow us everywhere. We think we can free ourselves from it by trying harder, working harder, beating ourselves into betterness, getting smarter, or purer somehow. During this daylong retreat, we'll sit together and see if there might be a different kind of freedom possible. You can find more information and register in the links in our bio.

🪷 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught that love is not passive—it is a powerful force for justice, rooted in courage and sustained by truth. In today’s world of division and uncertainty, compassion can sometimes feel too tender, or even naïve. Yet Dr. King showed us that compassion, when grounded in courage and clarity, becomes a transformative force.
In this daylong, we’ll draw from King’s teachings and the Dharma to explore how we can care deeply without becoming overwhelmed, and how to act with wisdom rather than aggression. Through meditation, Dharma reflections, and relational practice, we’ll cultivate a resilient heart—one that meets injustice and complexity with fierce compassion and unwavering equanimity.
