We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon on Saturday at a dedication of three serviceberry trees to long time friend and neighbor John Trudeau at the Kelly School Garden. Many thanks to Ed and Carol Petersen who initiated the fund appeal in his name. Thanks to all who came, enjoying snacks from Das Good cafe, shared in the last-of-the-year harvest and great conversation.

We had a great time at Kelly schools Earth Day celebration. Kids helped us get plants and seeds in as well as begin composting with school lunch leftovers! Others were off cleaning up the newly renovated schoolyard. Thx to Weavers Way for the plant donations.

We started with 3 cubic yards of soil in a pile and ended with beds filled and ready to plant! Kelly School Family Garden crew did it again. Along with kale, cilantro and beets in the ground while the peach tree shows off!
