Can you guys believe it? The Ambitious Official Teaser is finally here!! AND we got a website?! Well shiiiiiii - 😌💅
What started as a Senior’s last effort to use all of Temple University’s resources …. grew into a Sundance-supported project. Ambitious was first made in 2018, and now it’s back - bolder than ever.
We are so grateful for our cast and crew’s hard work and talents, and we are incredibly proud to have a series that speaks loudly for the voices of Philadelphia’s Vietnamese and Cambodian first-gen students.
Think we’re done here? I think not! Executive Producers and Co-Creators Jenna Lam and Samantha K. Tan have also been selected to be jurors for Temple’s Diamond Screen Film Festival for the Narrative category. Wow, the Ambitious team is killin’ it!

FUN FACT: Travoye Joyner is a returning cast member of Ambitious and couldn't be more excited to be a part of this production! 🤩
Outside of acting, Travoye works with ASAP Philly in their Drama division teaching 1st-8th graders throughout the Philadelphia Public School System. You might also find him at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Admissions Department.
