Did you know states hold BILLIONS in unclaimed cash from forgotten bank accounts, utility deposits, and insurance payouts? 💵
Search your state's official unclaimed property site (or MissingMoney.com). You might be pleasantly surprised by what's waiting for you!

💡 The Reality Check: If it's this easy for you to forget an account exists, imagine how hard it would be for your family to locate your finances in an emergency.

Here is your power move for today: If you don’t have a Living Will, download your state's form and fill it out.

And if you do have one, take 30 seconds right now to tell your most important person where it is stored.

Having the document is only half the step, making sure your loved ones can actually access it when seconds count is what gives you true peace of mind.

Ever notice how easy it is to remember the little things?

Your favorite pizza place.
Your mechanic.
The coffee order you never have to think about.

But ask yourself…

Do you know the name of your insurance agent?

It’s funny what our brains choose to remember.

Sometimes the things that matter most deserve to be just as easy to find.

Grace Asks…

Some things are important because they’re legal.

Some are important because they’re part of your family’s story.

Grandma’s lasagna recipe is probably worth more to your family than the paper it’s written on.

Recipes. Letters. Holiday traditions. Handwritten notes.

These are the things that connect generations.

The question isn’t whether they’re important.

It’s whether the people you love could find them when they want them.

💚 Being organized is an act of love.

You have a safe.

Great.

But… who knows the combination?

We often think that simply owning a safe means we’re prepared.

But being prepared isn’t just about protecting what’s inside. It’s about making sure the people you trust can access what they need when the time comes.

Preparation isn’t about expecting the worst.

It’s about making life easier for the people you love.

❤️ Being organized is an act of love.

Your dog knows exactly when dinner is.

The favorite treats.
The walking route.
The bedtime routine.

You know all of those little details without even thinking.

But would someone else?

Preparing for life’s everyday moments isn’t just about documents. It’s also about making sure the ones who depend on us continue to feel safe, comfortable, and loved, even when someone else is helping.

🐾 Being organized is an act of love.

There are moments in life that change you forever.

For me, it was realizing I didn’t know where my mom’s DNR was.

We never found it.

As a result, she spent the last two weeks of her life intubated—something she never wanted.

I still think about that.

That experience changed the way I think about being prepared. Having important documents isn’t enough. The people who need them have to know where they are.

That’s one of the reasons we created DocuGuardian.

💙 Being organized is an act of love.

If this story reminds even one family to have these conversations before they’re needed, it’s worth sharing.
