How you start your morning determines how you stand in your day. In Psalm 5:1-3, David shows us what a godly morning routine looks like - coming to God directly, humbly, personally, consistently, and expectantly. Before the world gets at you, before the demands pile up, God deserves to hear your voice first.

David was a king, yet he bowed before the One whose crown never comes off. He prayed and then he watched, fully expecting God to move. That same expectation belongs to us. When we bring our sighs, our groans, and our honest hearts to God in the morning, the Holy Spirit translates every word according to God's will.

Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12). Start your day in that light -- and watch how it changes the way you stand through everything that follows. Before you go to sleep tonight, make up your mind: God is going to hear from you in the morning.

What if the hustle you are holding onto is the very thing keeping you from a deeper relationship with God? In Luke 9:23-24, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow him - not as a burden, but as the path to true life and freedom.

We live in a culture that tells us to grind harder, do more, and save ourselves. But Jesus reminds us that whoever tries to save their own life will lose it. The answer is not more grit - it's more grace. Exchange your striving for surrender and watch God raise up something greater than you could ever ask or imagine.

If you missed this Sunday's message, "Crucifying the Hustle," we encourage you to watch online. Join us this Sunday - come as you are and leave differently than you came.

Are you exhausted from the endless hustle? Jesus has an invitation for you: "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28-30).

We live in a world that glorifies busyness, but hurry is killing our souls. It squeezes out time with God and leaves us running in circles, getting nowhere-like that driver weaving through traffic only to end up at the same red light. Jesus offers a different rhythm: His yoke is easy, His burden is light.

This isn't just about salvation rest-it's about daily soul rest. When you're yoked to Jesus, you walk at His pace, learn from His gentleness, and find peace that surpasses understanding. Stop hiding from God in your busyness. Accept His open invitation. Submit to His gentle yoke. Practice His unhurried rhythm through silence, Sabbath, and simplicity.

The invitation is still open. Will you accept it? Come and find rest for your soul.

Some assembly is still required.
If you’ve been feeling low on motivation or encouragement lately, look at who you're surrounding yourself with. In His Word, with His people, is where you find exactly what you need.

Don't do life isolated. We have a seat saved for you this weekend!
