5 Star Chef Ryan Moore stepped into Guiding Stars and gave our young people a hands-on culinary lesson, showing them that there’s a lot more happening in a kitchen than just making food.

On Tuesday August 4th we honored one of our fallen stars Jasiah Payne, he helped build the bench w his hands so it’s only right we dedicate it in his name 🕊

They had so many nice things to say about me… meanwhile the footage told a COMPLETELY different story 😂😂

But there’s a message behind the laughs.

Sometimes we’re so quick to point out what people do wrong, we forget to tell them what they do RIGHT.

Give people their flowers 💐 Tell somebody you appreciate them. Tell them what they’re good at. You never know who needed to hear it.

And while y’all laughing at my pain 😂 my Media Team was actually learning! This week we worked on satire, storytelling and lighting 🎥 They learned how what you SEE can tell a completely different story than what you HEAR.

Safe to say… they understood the assignment a little TOO well 😂

This wasn’t just a tasting. By course three, we were emotionally invested. 😂

Chef Ryan Moore gave us a full experience from the first bite to dessert. Thoughtful flavors, beautiful presentation, and food that actually tastes as good as it looks.
