This was my FIFTH year as the event planner for the Bock Fest & Goat Race and somehow every year gets a little bigger, crazier, and more magical. 🐐🍻
5 days of physical setup.
4,000 people in attendance.
50 goats racing for glory.
120+ staff & volunteers helping pull it all off.
And for the FIRST time since 2015… no rain. We truly beat the curse this year. ☀️
Watching this event come to life after months of planning always feels surreal. So much work goes into making a one-day festival feel seamless, fun, and just the right amount of chaotic.
Huge congrats to Ginger, our 2026 goat race champion, and thank you to every single person who helped make this year unforgettable. My body may never recover from moving barricades and hay bales for 5 straight days… but my heart is full. 💛

Philadelphia, this one’s for history lovers, music seekers, and anyone who loves a good street fest 🍀

This year’s fest honors the legacy of the 1844 Kensington Riots with the dedication of a new Pennsylvania Historical Marker — recognizing a pivotal (and often overlooked) chapter of Philadelphia’s past.
From there, the street comes alive:
🎶 Live Irish & folk music (including and )
💃 Irish dance performances
🎻 Open Trad Session jam (bring your instrument + join in!)
🍴 Local food + drink vendors like Mom-Mom’s Kitchen &
🏠Neighborhood makers + small businesses
Set on the historic grounds of the former Nanny Goat Market, this festival celebrates the community that rose from hardship and the vibrant culture that continues today.
Come for the history, stay for the music, food, and connection
