Love Sick by 2014

Yall!! As artist we have some paintings that we wish we never let get away and took better care of. I swear about a week ago I was thinking about my “Love Sick" series, I was thinking of this painting and another one and I’m like I wish I still had those pieces.

Yesterday I was on instagram and saw that tagged me in a photo. I had to look at the date and make sure this wasn’t a old post cause I’m like no way! It was this painting on page for sale, they also had a photo of the back with the title and my name . I’m so glad I signed most of my paintings in my early stages as a artist because if I hadn’t then prob wouldn’t have know it was mine. I immediately dm them and told them I was the artist and asked where they got it from. Told me they got it from a vendor at a Quaker City flea market who buys abandon storage units, Not sure how it ended up there. I asked if I could buy for the original price they got it for and they told me I could just come pick up for free!! I’m so grateful! I made this painting with love during some tough times. This piece will be added to my collection as one of my pieces that will never be for sale! ill pass this down to my daughter.

I went to and meet with Matt, who told me he got this piece because of his tattoo tatted on his knuckles. Thank you again!

Told him I got him with a custom love sick painted tee shirt! Stay tuned.

Check out they are doing great work with the U arts salvage sale. They are giving students a chance to get their artwork that might have been left behind during the closing
