Last night I whipped up this SUPER QUICK soup...yes I do soup in summer๐. Perfect for anytime and anyone, but of course my folks are at the forefront of my culinary intentions these days. The fam LOVED IT!โ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ฟ
I had to make sure I got a pic before it was gone!
Other reasons this soup slaps!!
โ๏ธIf you have picky kiddos like mine this may be a flavor palette they'll go for: full bodied but not spicy, earthy/Herby, warm from the tiniest pinch of cayenne, the little hit of salt that kids seem to need to deem things tasty ( you know what I'm talking about ๐)
โ๏ธVEGAN, NO NUTS, NO GLUTEN - I'm pretty sure this soup hits all the major dietary preferences / restrictions so eat up y'all!
โ๏ธ POSTPARTUM: WARM FOODS ARE YOUR FRIEND & this one is full of and goodness
THE SOUP:
1.MUSHROOMS (I used baby Bella's cuz they're among my fave but do you. I definitely recommend trying a variety of shrooms for their different flavors and nutritional values.)
ALSO! I pulsed them pretty fine so they would break down and build the broth. If you want to leave some in bigger chunks as well do you!
2. CARROTS (shredded mine but again do you)
3. GARLIC - LOTS (seriously there was an entire bulb in this pot)
4.CELERY - 6 stalks chopped (we like celery round here)
5.CANNELINI BEANS - 4 (15.5 OZ) CANS
6. FILTERED/SPRING/ALKALINE WATER
7.SPICES - Whatever tickles your fancy, but I used thyme, cayenne, black pepper & sea salt. would be poppin too! ๐๐๐
8. - or or or WILTED IN AT THE END
โ๏ธRecipe writing is not my forte y'all ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ but if you know how to build soups take the list and do yo thang!

TODAY
I'm loving on myself: going for my walk, eating good food, speaking sweet words to myself, dancing by myself and with my loves
Loving on my babies: listening, hugging, playing, teaching them something new about at least one of their direct ancestors, I'll start with my Grandma Anne - my Mama's mama
Loving on my man: listening, cutting his hair, making sure he has space to do what he needs to do for himself
