Repairing a1968 Dual 1019. Pain.

A while ago I posted that I could improve any turntable that a customer brings in. Not looks, but sound. This is still true. The worst turntables are better in the trash, but most can be improved and used. This includes very expensive turntables as well. We have tables here from cheap ($200ish) to around $7500. Nothing like the 10/20/30 k$ that dilettantes often waste on exotic looking but average sounding turntables. There are many factors that contribute to or mitigate against good sound, but here a qu**ky: if the tonearm on the turntable you are considering has a lot of weird hardware hanging off the back don't buy it.
