Along with 10+ art & craft vendors, we have Drexel’s own performing at Lawn Jawn this Friday!

Makeout City is a Philadelphia-based indie-pop duo comprised of Simon Ogilvie and Jack Lichtenstein. The two co-write and co-produce, creating an ethereal soundscape contrasted with driving rhythms and electric guitar lines reminiscent of the raw sound of the 90's.

Long time local philly favorite, will be bringing some DOPE energy to the stage.

Cvgebird discovered music as a way to escape and express the way we experience the world. Existing in a culture that tries to put us in cages of conformity, Cvgebird's music empowers listeners to break free and be unapologetic, continuing to express their true and authentic selves.

Will you be coming to Flux’s spring festival this Friday? The festivities start at 1pm, tag a homie you’ll be pulling up with in the comments!

SO WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE, anyway? Splendi will be kickin off Lawn Jawn this year, and her debut single comes out the same day! Come thru Friday, May 20th at 1pm to catch her set.

Splendi is an indie-pop artist based in philadelphia. She embodies a dark and moody ambiance with storytelling through a cynical lens. Through each song, listeners are given a glimpse into splendi’s life and her seemingly never-ending struggles as an insatiable 22 year old.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we were able to raise $3,540 for WOAR Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence in April!

Sage’s speech at WCL reminded us that one of the most important things we can start with to support survivors is simply to BE THERE & BELIEVE them. I hope something stuck with you from the show that appreciated the wonderful talent on stage yet reached beyond it as well.

From Flux and the whole Teal Chronicles Team, we’re incredibly proud of the hard work, great bands, Drexel’s student body & administration, and grateful to be able to support ’s mission in Philadelphia. Thanks again to all who came out and enjoyed the show!!

HOLD UP: Lawn Jawn is this Saturday? From 3-4pm? Yes indeed, now let’s get a look at the last band on the lineup: Nothing But A Nightmare

Nothing but a Nightmare, founded in 2017 by five high school best friends in Langhorne PA is an Alternative/Rock/Pop band that has seen some amazing highs in their short time as a band together.

In 2018 they released their first two singles, "The Girl from Scandinavia" and "Down That Road No More". The music video for "The Girl from Scandinavia" debuted shortly after, which was a hit with local teens and press. In February 2019, the band released their debut album "Nostalgia" which also received much streaming success. In May 2019 the band had the opportunity to open for Andy Grammer at the "Wilmington Flower Market Festival" which was a huge success for the band as the event had an amazing draw.

After that in June 2019 the band released three new singles, including their top streamed song and music video "Can't Fix Stupid". After a short hiatus the band returned with their latest singles "Sittin' in the Corner (Friday Night in Boston)" and "Living in a Lie" .

Amongst all these high points, the band also plays countless shows in the local Philadelphia area, and hopes to extend outward. The band hopes to work their way up in a competitive
"Alternative Rock" market. They're newest album and stringiest project to date "Kleptomania" released in September 2020 is the band's best work.

Tune in on Saturday via YouTube and say hi in the Lawn Jawn premiere chat! See you soon 👀
