Did you know that poor circulation can slow wound healing?
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) occurs when blood vessels become narrowed, reducing blood flow to the legs and feet. This can make wounds harder to heal and increase the risk of serious health complications.
As PAD Awareness Month comes to a close, take time to learn the signs and talk with your healthcare provider if you have concerns about circulation or a wound that isn't healing.
