PCOM has trained over 17,000 healthcare professionals, including over 13,000 DO Graduates. More than 11,000 PCOM alumni practice throughout the United States the US and five in foreign countries. In the state of Pennsylvania alone, there are 2,380 alumni representing and serving 64 of 67 counties. PCOM alumni practice in all areas of medicine, hold leadership positions in the medical community, teach in many of the country's top medical schools, and serve every branch of the military.

For Tim Hendricks, DO '21, running isn't just a hobby. It's a philosophy rooted for him in a passion for movement. When the opportunity presented to represent Team USA at the 60th World Military Armed Forces Sports (CISM) Cross Country Team World Championships in Pyli, Trikala, Greece, he was ready to meet it.

Maryland Daily Record 07/15/2026

: Matthew Levy, DO '06, was honored with the 2026 Physician of the Year through The Daily Record Health Care Heroes Award. This award honors those individuals and organizations who have made an impact on the quality of health care within the state of Maryland. Dr. Levy led the development of Maryland’s first ground-based prehospital blood transfusion program, which reduces time to resuscitation and has been adopted by more than one third of Maryland EMS systems.
