THIS FRIDAY, 6/12 we’ll be outside of William Way LGBT Center (13th and Spruce) from 2-4pm with these FREE posters for the people.
Limited supply. All 19”x13”.
50 on grey text paper (suitable for wheat-paste), 25 red in white cardstock, 25 black on white cardstock.
The original design of this poster was used as a placard on the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963. These words are still relevant because not nearly enough has changed since then to make this country a safe and free place for everyone. It’s sickening how officers of the law are able to get away with murder of Black people time and time again. Everyone needs to be on the same page to meet the demands to defund police and promote the welfare of the Black community.
The design was reworked and made suitable for printing again by type designer . @ William Way LGBT Community Center
