Had the delightful opportunity to try Marukan Vinegar over the weekend! Founded in 1649 (Kiyosu, Japan) and family-owned for 10 generations, they have perfected the slow-brewing of rice vinegar that enhances the flavor of a dish. I tried:

• Marukan Genuine Brewed Rice Vinegar
• Marukan Seasoned Gourmet Rice Vinegar
• Marukan Lite Seasoned Rice Vinegar

Marukan Rice Vinegar is bright, tangy, and balances the sweet/salt/fatty components of a recipe:

1. Brushed over grilled shish*tos
2. Dipping sauce for fried pork potstickers
3. Dipping sauce for crispy chicken skin
4. Pickled jalapeno and whole thai peppers
