Hi All - in this time, we hope everyone is well and invite you to please join us online on April 28th for our all-day Year of Brain Science Technology UnRetreat (full schedule attached).

In the Sprague lecture, Polina Anikeeva from MIT will tell us about Electronic, Optical and Magnetic Tools for Interrogation of Neural Function Across Scales.
In the Adler lecture, Tony Zador from Cold Spring Harbor, will tell us about From connectome to computation.
Our rising star award winner Michael Yartsev from UC Berkeley will tell us about Studying the Neural Basis of Complex Spatial, Social and Acoustic Behaviors – in Freely Behaving and Flying Bats.
On top of these, we will have Minisymposia on recording/imaging and behavior with amazing Penn faculty speakers and parallel sessions with short talks featuring your own work.
If you are at UPenn, please submit an abstract for short talk sessions. Submissions are open immediately as part of event signup.

The UnRetreat will also feature a “Brain Buddies” matchmaking program that will match registrants with others who have shared interests for future interaction. Regardless where you are, please submit an abstract for one-on-one matching (6 skype calls, one low price of $0). We will use the same mechanism as at the recent neuromatch.io UnConference.

However you want to be involved, please sign up here which is also where the meeting will happen and afterwards where all talks will be available: https://www.crowdcast.io/e/Yobst.

NOTE: If you are planning to submit an abstract, please do so at the time of registration.

Reserve April 28th for a neuroscience packed adventure focusing on brain science and technology.
