Maintaining vintage equipment in a high-volume arcade bar is a major challenge. Reproduction parts sometimes have to be sourced – or even manufactured. Shoot the Cup! is a short film about how we reproduced our own Quick & Crash guns with the brilliant team at Kemperle Industries. The original guns are 25+ years old, take a massive beating, and are no longer made, so to keep our many Q&C cabinets running (we own 10!), we had to take matters into our own hands.
This was originally intended to be a segment in our upcoming feature documentary Barcade the Movie (wait, what?!). However, it didn’t make the final cut of the film - so, we edited it together into its own mini-doc!
