Getting set up for family day at the fire department

The tornado sirens will go off at 11:00 today as part of the monthly test. They are tested the first Monday of every month. We have had people asking why they didn’t go off last night. The severe weather was closely monitored and the severe storms were north of the City.

The city of Philadelphia is currently under a burn ban effective 10/3/23 until 10/17/23. Only propane/gas grills, propane/gas heaters, and charcoal grills are allowed at this time!
