Workin the hell out of my rx100 these days.
My camera is keeping me sane. But these photos I’ve been snapping are quite the opposite. Been feeling it in my bones lately.

Call me Kuzco (or corny) cuz im tryna find my new groove.

I felt like the camera and I have been as disconnected as I have been from myself for the last few years. My shooting has declined in volume and meaning. Up until recently my relationship with the camera has felt devoid of purpose other than sustaining my livelihood.

I let my art take a backseat while I occupied my time with distractions. Instead of investing in myself, I squandered time and resources. The art started to feel pointless and I really had no direction. I was repeating cycles that made it hard to create with a clear mind. I felt trapped, physically and mentally.

So I have forcing myself to create until something gives.

All taken on my rx100vi over the last two weeks.

1) the sun was hitting the church prettyyyyy good. I had to capture that.

2) man holding flowers on the city hall platform during rush hr during a train delay.

TL;DR I think I lost the plot somewhere and it’s time to get back on my bu****it. Enjoy the photos.

Man, I love my friends.

Rian hit me saying he was gonna be in town. I had a photoshoot that day so he came through to shoot some bts and support.

What he didnt realize is that I was seriously going THROUGH it that day. It was definitely reassuring having a friend by my side and it’s always nice having extra hands and a brain on set.

We got to rap for a bit after the shoot and he helped give me new perspective on life. And man I am grateful for that conversation.

Of course I had to pay him back with a quick shoot.

I stepped out Saturday night to bday party at . It was so cool to see so much love in one room. You’ve obviously made an incredible impact on so many people.

I brought out my rx100 and snapped a couple flicks. If you can count on anything it’s Taaj throwing an awesome event. I got to catch a set from one of my favorite DJs of all time , kicked it with my guy , ran into and !!
