We are so back.

Trying to see the positives in this and the bright sides. Had our recheck today everything‘s looking good, but we’re still another week out. That will put us at a full month of crate rest. I know this is the finish line and I know we’re so close but a week feels like an eternity. I’m definitely worried for her mental health but as of right now we’re doing okay.

Right as Yue got hurt, our odors came in… such a high moment, followed by having to put everything on pause. That part was tough.

But we’re in the final stretch now—last 3–4 days of crate rest and we’re about to take off again. I can’t wait to get back to work and dive back in 🔥💜🌙💣

It’s a very special dog’s 5th birthday today. 🎉

I’ve been training TT (Daytona) since she was just a tiny 8-week-old puppy, starting her service dog training journey.

It’s actually pretty rare to work with a dog so consistently for that long through their life. Aside from Nala, TT was the first service dog I ever trained.

Over the years, and I became good friends, and we’ve stayed close and I got to watch TT grow into the big, badass girl she is today.

I miss you both. Happy birthday, TT. 🐾
