Earlier this week, Tempest team members from across the U.S., Canada and the U.K. gathered in Philadelphia for our annual Team Day โ€” a full day of big-picture updates, hands-on collaboration, and a little friendly competition for good measure.

We kicked off the day with an overview of where we've been, where we're heading, and the exciting products and services currently in development, before taking a moment to recognize the colleagues who bring our core values to life every day. We then split into groups to imagine the destination marketing industry in 2035, followed with team dinners, a few rounds of friendly competition, and the kind of conversations that only happen when you're all in the same room. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŽฑ๐Ÿค

We are grateful for moments like these and already looking forward to bringing the team together again at Tourism Academy in Jacksonville in just a few weeks!

Tempest's Q3 2025 Destination Website Performance analysis is live! We reviewed data from nearly 80 destination websites to understand where traffic is coming from, how engagement is shifting, and what it means for DMOs heading into 2026.

A few takeaways:

โœ… Organic traffic continues to lead with a 72% engagement rate
๐Ÿ“‰ Just 39% of sites saw YoY organic growth in Q3
๐Ÿค– LLMs now drive 0.30% of all sessions (up from 0.19% in Q2)
๐Ÿ’ป 94% of that traffic came from ChatGPT; Perplexity accounted for just 3%
