Moyamensing Point

Join us this Thursday for our bi-weekly clean up at the Point. We’ll be cleaning, weeding, and watering. Start time around 6pm. All are welcome!

Did you know “Moyamensing” comes from a Lenape word meaning “pigeon poop”? Thankfully, we don’t have too much of that to deal with but there’s always plenty to do around Moyamensing Point.

Starting this Thursday and running through the summer, we’re planning to get together every other Thursday to get stuff done - from cleaning and weeding to watering and everything in between. Start time is around 6pm and we expect to be there anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on our to-do list.

Join us when you can. It’s a great way to meet new neighbors and keep our little pocket park looking good! Hope to see you there!

Love Your Park is happening this Saturday! Join us at 10 AM as we come together to tidy up the Point with some weeding, watering, and general clean up. Every little bit helps so hope to see you there!

This Saturday is Phestivus! See Santa arrive on a fire truck while celebrating the true spirit of the season with friends and neighbors. Be sure to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation to support families in our community through the South Street Police Mini Station Annual Toy Drive. The festivities start at 6pm! See you there.
